Consul refrigerator launches lowest price to ensure sales

The Consul has released yesterday a new line of refrigerators of lowest price. The manufacturer's goal is to meet the demand of those who do not have appliance category frost free and so ensure a breath for sales this year.
"The frost free market is the second largest of refrigerators in the country, but it still has little participation in the total consumed, with 22% stake last year", says the General Manager of marketing for Whirlpool Latin America, Vitor Bertoncini. In addition to the Consul, Whirlpool owns the brand Brastemp.
With the launch of the new product line, the manufacturer hopes to boost the migration movement of consumers to the category.
"We believe that this thread will keep growing a lot and we're going to continue investing in this type of product," says the General Manager of marketing of the company and responsible for the brand Consul, Pethra Ferraz.

She tells that the first batches of the new line of refrigerators manufactured in Joinville (SC), have already been sold for retail and that orders are occurring.
"Retailers liked the product's proposal that the Consul is offering to this thread of refrigerators with up to 350 litres, which is having a product with innovation, but accessible," he explains.
The expectation of the manufacturer is the products of new line of refrigerators come to retail in about 15 days.
The Executive recognizes, however, that with the market less heated this year, the Consul has tried harder to offer products with attractive cost-benefit to the final consumer.
"We realized that we need to have a proposal well aligned with what the consumer can afford this year. So let's make sure to enter the category he choose our products, "she says.
