Bunge and Solazyme extend joint venture in Brazil

The Solazyme and Bunge announced that expanded a joint venture that has already held in oil production from algae to include the focus on food. The expansion includes, as companies release, a series of oils for animal food and nutrition.
The expansion will happen in joint venture plant located in the State of São Paulo, the largest structure of aerobic fermentation of the world, as companies reported.
As part of the expansion, the partners also entered into an agreement to expand their research programs co-funded to include new exclusive products in nutrition and fats specialties.
