Bottles of 500 ml ice cream branded Ramos are already available in stores Carrefour hypermarkets

The Carrefour hypermarket was the first to rely on the quality of ice cream and Thaddeus insert the product in the gondolas. The investment in the line of pots was a bold strategy to win new customers and expanding the business. To do so, the company relied on a survey by ABIS (Brazilian Association of ice-cream industry) that indicates the increase of 76.49% between 2012 and 2013 on consumption of bakery products. "The pot of 500 ml was inspired in an increasingly common trend in the country: to bring home, i.e. a larger pot to be served for the whole family," says Juliana Lee, marketing director of the company.
The expectation of Sorbets Ramos is to increase the numerical distribution of products and thus significantly increase participation in marketing share. With the entry into the retail network, the company expects that this niche is responsible for 35% of revenues, including influencing on seasonality.
