Price of milk to the producer rises 3.2% in August

SAO PAULO-the price of milk paid to the national producer returned to rise in August. "The production increased slightly in July and the expectation is that the catchment has risen 2.9% in August over July," said the analyst.
Another sign that high is losing power is the behaviour of long-life milk prices at wholesale and retail in the State of São Paulo. According to Scot, the long life was stable at $ 2.51 per gallon. In retailing, left $ 2.82 in July to $ 2.84 in August.
Although the capture of milk is already growing due to the beginning of the harvest, Ribeiro did not expect producer prices have expressive falls starting in October. The reason is that the companies ' stocks are reduced. "Should fall, but not much".
With the growth of milk intake, said the analyst, the competition between the dairy should decrease from the second fortnight of September.
