Bosch buys French Tecsor

Bosch Packaging Technology, a supplier of process and packaging technologies, has completed the acquisition of the assets of Tecsor Machines et Systèmes, based in Meyreuil, near Marseille, in France. The Tecsor develops and sells machines for the manufacture and packaging of PET food and drinks packaging folder, such as bottles of milk and yogurt cups. Created in 2005, the company generated sales of around two million euros in 2012. The purchase price will not be disclosed.
"With the Tecsor we're adding even more to our activities in the area of liquid food," said Friedbert Klefenz said, President of Bosch Packaging Technology. In October 2012, the Tecsor had acquired the German Ampack, which has in its portfolio filling machines of glasses and bottles. The equipment is mainly used in packaging of highly sensitive foods, such as dairy products, baby food and food to hospitals. The Ampack is a technology leader in the segment of sterile and aseptic processing of pre-formed cups and bottles.
