Apple should reveal in this third new iPhone models

SÃO PAULO-In event scheduled at 2:0 pm Tuesday, 10, (at Greenwich), technology giant Apple should reveal at its headquarters in Cupertino, California (USA), the new iPhone. If bets are confirmed, the company founded by Steve Jobs must present two models of the device, probably called 5S and 5 c. The first unit would be the successor to the iPhone 5, released about a year ago in the United States (and in December in Brazil).
Second speculation sites specialize in technology, the new model can bring improvements to the processor with the introduction of a new chip, the A7, which is 31% more powerful than the current. The camera can come with up to 13 megapixels (the current has 8 megapixels) and a flash with two LEDs, which would improve the colors of the image. Another novelty of the smart phone would be a button?Home? biometric-that is, able to read the fingerprint of the owner, thereby providing greater security.
Economic version
Already the iPhone 5 c would be a more cost-effective smartphone model, costing between $ 300 and $ 400 in the US (in the version without link to operator)-reduction of approximately 40% compared to traditional Apple's price. Another rumor suggests that the two phones would come with a lot more color choices than the current, including gold, green, pink, blue and yellow.
The lowest cost would be the company's reaction to the loss of land for mobile phones Android operating system, in particular from Samsung. While competitors offer models in different price ranges, Apple always has launched only one model per year since 2007.
The advancement of rival has been relentless. The Android system was at 80% of smartphones sold worldwide in the second quarter of 2013 (the previous year, the share was 64.2%). Already the slice of Apple's iOS system, present only on iPhones, shrank to 18.8% to 14.2%, in the same comparison, according to the consulting firm Gartner.
A cheaper model would also help Apple to conquer space in emerging markets, where even more are being overshadowed by the Android. Millions of Brazilians, Indians and Chinese bought their first smartphone in recent two years, and most of them can't afford to bear the value of an iPhone.
Apple's concern with emerging became evident with the programming of an event tomorrow in Beijing, China, a day after the release in the us. Sources say that the company would have closed a partnership with China Mobile, China's largest operator. The information is from the newspaper O Estado de s. Paulo.
