Riachuelo provides improves sales of third quarter

With "radical" improvement in the month of June, July signaled that same store sales (open for more than one year) of Riachuelo in the third quarter will be higher than those of the second, said Tulio Queiroz, Chief Financial Officer of Guararapes, parent company of retailer.
Between April and June, sales in stores open more than a year ago advanced 6.6%. During yesterday's conference call, Qiu said that sales in the North and Northeast have recovered in the second quarter and reached the plateau South and Southeast. The Midwest was featured.
Queiroz predicts impact of r $ 20 million to $ 25 million in annual Ebitda of Guararapes from the payroll release at retail. The Executive said that the Guararapes will make "efforts" to maintain the Ebitda margin stable in 2013, despite the pressures of occupancy cost.
For Queiroz, even with the dollar R $ 2.30, imports still makes sense for certain products. "Three years ago, we are increasing the slice of imported in the mix, a trend in the industry," he said.
