Marisa stores: profit falls 81.5% in Q3

SÃO PAULO-Marisa Stores recorded net income of r $ 12.3 million in the third quarter of this year, fall of 81.5% compared to the same period in 2012. In the year, the company accumulated net income of r $ 59.8 million, a retraction of 47.7% compared to nine months of 2012.
The Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) totaled r $ 83.2 million between July and September, indentation of 33.3% in comparison with the same half last year. Year to date, the company's Ebitda of r $ 277 million, down 7.2% compared to the previous year.
Consolidated net revenue totaled r $ 722,5 million in the third quarter, a decrease of 1.0% in comparison with the same period last year. Between January and September, the retailer had net revenue of R $ 2,096 billion, a 7.8% expansion.
