Adoption of 4 k content depends on

Just as happened during the introduction of new technologies such as high-definition and 3D, TV makers rush to create content that can take advantage of the high picture quality of the equipment with ultra-high resolution-high, or 4 k. Today, only one hundred films are available in the market with resolution so precise.
A shortcut used by manufacturers to accelerate the provision of content is the conversion than is currently available. But this feature does not allow you to exploit the full potential of ultra-high definition. To achieve this, you need to shoot in 4 k. The JVC, Sony and Digital Red already have cameras with this technology.
Parallel to the launch of new TV sets 4 k on Monday, Sony has introduced two new professional camera models and the prototype of a camera for consumers. The Japanese manufacturer also announced the launch of a video service Netflix-style with 4 k content.
During a press event at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Kazuo Hirai, Chief Executive of Sony, said that many films are already captured in 4 k, but undergo a process of reduction of the resolution for being cast. "We want to encourage the production of 4 k in the movies, on TV and in advertising," he said. The strategy of Sony, which operates in the areas of electronics, music, film and TV, is to use all of these assets to promote the technology.
In the United States, Fox Sports has made football broadcasts with 4 k. Technology is used to give quality to replays of moves. In Brazil, TV Globo has been experimenting with technology. Earlier this year, the Carnival in Rio was filmed in 4 k in partnership with Sony.
