AmBev can buy Brazil factory Kirin in RJ

Cade (Administrative Council of economic defense) today released (08/04) in the Official Gazette of the Union that is analyzing the Ambev deal to acquire a Brazil factory Kirin in Cachoeiras de Macacu, Rio de Janeiro.
Kirin unit produces and makes beers, soft drinks, juices and mineral water. Sought by the newspaper Valor Econômico, Ambev reported that "opportunity meets the strategy to optimize production capacity in modern plants, close to the main areas of consumption". Brazil already Kirin, had not responded to the request for an interview from the vehicle to the time of publication of the news in the newspaper''s online platform (11:54).
The deal includes only the fábril unit, without involving any other active or Brazil brand Kirin.
