Fast-Food Opera Only by Delivery and Drive-Thru

Starting March 23, McDonald's will operate exclusively by delivery, drive-thru and travel orders. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the controller Arcos Dorados decided to close the lounge of the restaurants of the fast-food chain. The temporary measure is valid for the more than 1,000 McDonald's stores in Brazil. For the prevention period, the network also strengthened its hygiene and cleaning protocols and adopted the home office. In support of the measure of social distancing, recommended by health agencies, McDonald's separated the golden arches from its logo in an image created for social networks. Check out the film of the initiatives on TV Giro News! Online Courses Another novelty of the restaurant chain is the creation of a platform for micro and small companies in the food sector in Brazil. Offered online and free of charge, the courses will have a grid divided into three pillars: Food Safety, Hygiene and Sustainable Development. According to McDonald's, the goal is to share its practices and internal courses to help prevent diseases. Classes will begin next week and registration will be open on March 23, with limited vacancies for owners of small establishments in the sector and their employees.
