FoodService performance index Grows

The nominal revenue of the major foodservice operators, members of the IFB, rose 2.1% in June 2016 in comparison with the same month last year. The same stores (existing stores with over 13 months), had a decrease of -4.6%. The smaller sales in comparison to previous years is a consequence of the fall is still the main macroeconomic indicators. The power sector outside the home, accurate inflation by IBGE, accumulated in 12 months was 9.4% same result determined by the members of the IFB.
Increased Average Ticket paid off, in Part, the fall in the number of transactions in June 2016, also had decrease compared to the previous year, a fall in the total amount of stores and in the same store, concept-4.5% results and -13% respectively. Already the increase in the average ticket within one year from 6.6% in all stores, partly compensated for the drop in transactions. Despite the turbulent economy and time of brazilian politics, the IFB members increased its number of stores in June 2016 compared to last year, with growth of 7.6% in the year.
