Carriers get the niche e-Sedex

São Paulo-After confirmation that the e-Courier, offered by the post office will be closed from January, logistics and courier companies are beginning to move to meet the demand that will be suppressed without the care of the State.
Last week, the public carrier announced the end of the service that offered discounts to virtual retailers conduct their deliveries through the company, which holds the monopoly of the sector in the Country.
"The decision (by the finish) will allow private competitors raise this demand and offer the best services offered by the post office today," says the CEO of Rapiddo, William Boniface. The company performs on-demand online service for deliveries via express couriers.
According to him, the demand for the services of the carrier should go up from January next year, right after the end of the e-Courier. The potential for growth with retailers "orphans" from the post office is an increase of 50% in the volume of submissions expressed the company logistics.
"Today, e-commerce represents between 5% to 10% of all delivered. But, faced with the scenario, we can raise this installment for up to 50%. Even so, our prices will rise ", guarantees.
E-commerce experts consulted by the DCI believe that for the consumer the cost of shipping when purchasing products may rise more than the 30% referred to earlier, when State-owned logistics announced the measure. "Still could rise more than expected. But, first of all, can give space to the adventurous, bargain companies these costs with online sellers, causing loss or worse sales for them, "the Vice President of the Brazilian Association of Commerce (ABComm), Rodrigo Flag.
Twist
For the leader of the Association, the completion of the action taken by the post office could upset the organic growth of the sector, one of the few Brazilian retail still shows positive results.
For this reason, he suggests a greater dialogue between representatives of Commerce and State to raise awareness of the carrier by the number of small and medium entrepreneurs who should be affected with the extinction of the e-Courier.
"Small businesses are the ones that use the service. The shippers today have the capacity to meet who sells 100 to 150 products per month. Who sells less, has to resort to the post office. Look like? "asked Flag.
One of the biggest marketplaces in the sector, the Free Market also sees the end of the service concerned.
"In recent years we have made the logistics sector of the company-Shipping Market-including the purchase of Found (company). Now, let''s get strategies for this little salesman has alternatives to post offices ", says the Director of logistics of the free market, Leandro Bassoi.
A recent survey of the consultancy Accenture revealed that 76% of online consumers have analyzed the retailer''s return policy before completing the request. E-Sedex also performs services and reverse logistics.
Despite admitting that the freight will be more expensive, if the measure of post confirmation, Pedro Guasti, President of Ebit, believes that competition and competition between carriers can generate benefits for sellers.
"We will have more options available for delivery and often disruptive companies, appearing in that market. This can be positive "evaluated.
