COCA-COLA POSTPONES OPENING OF FACTORY

Grupo Femsa s.a. (Femsa) postponed the inauguration of the factory of Coca-Cola Femsa in Itabirito, in the Central region of Minas Gerais, to the beginning of 2015. According to the group the reason would be the realization of thorough tests on production lines. The new plant has received an investment of approximately $ 258 million and will have 65 thousand m² of constructed area, and until 2015 will have capacity to produce 2.1 billion liters of soft drinks a year, which equates to an increase of 47% in relation to the capacity of the unit of Belo Horizonte.
