Samsung announces Galaxy S5 mini with fingerprint reader

Samsung announced on Tuesday the S5 Galaxy Mini, compact version of the company's top-of-the-line smartphone.
The phone will be available in the coming weeks only in Russia. The release date for the rest of the world has not yet been announced, as well as the value of the product.
Following the trend of the previous lines, the S5 Galaxy Mini maintains the visual of your "big brother" and the main functions of the device, but offers smaller and more limited technical specifications.
With 4.5 inch screen and resolution of 1208 x 720 pixels, the new cell phone comes equipped with Android 4.4 KitKat and has a quad-core processor 1.4 GHz with 1.5 Gbytes of RAM. The internal memory is 16 Gbytes, with support for up to 64 Gbyte SD card, and the rear camera is 8 Mpixels.
For comparison, the Galaxy has 5.1-inch screen and S5 full HD resolution, quad-core processor 2.5 GHz and 2 Gbytes of RAM and rear camera to 16 Mpixels.
The compact device has capabilities of Samsung's top-of-the-line, as the fingerprint reader and the heart rate sensor, in addition to the connectivity with the latest Wearable Technologies launched by parent company Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Gear.
At first, the S5 Galaxy mini will be available in four colors: black, white, blue and gold.
