Ball completes acquisition of aluminum packaging business for aerosol

Ball Corporation has completed the acquisition of Tubex Indústria e Comércio de Embalagens Ltda., an aluminum packaging company for aerosol, which includes the Itupeva plant in São Paulo.
The company, which is now part of Ball's aerosol aluminum packaging division, complements Ball's global aerosol packaging and aluminum discs business in the Americas, Europe and India.
The Itupeva plant includes eight rows of cans and produces packaging for the personal care segment for global and local customers in Brazil.
The acquisition had been announced last March. The deal turned around $80 million.
