Government extends credit line term for micro and small businesses

The government extended for another three months the deadline for formalization of loans via the National Program to Support Microenterprises and Small Businesses (Pronampe).
The deadline was until this Wednesday (19/8) and now becomes valid until November 19.
The ordinance, signed by the Special Secretary of Productivity and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy, Carlos Alexandre da Costa, considers that there is still demand for credit among microenterprises and small companies for the maintenance of economic activities.
As soon as the government issued the provisional measure creating the program, there was an intense rush for this low-interest credit, which had the first remittance exhausted in a short time in the country's two largest public banks: Banco do Brasil and Caixa.
Now that the MP has been converted into law and is in the process of sanctioning, there will be a new union contribution of R $ 12 billion in the Operations Guarantee Fund (FGO), destined to Pronampe.
In addition to being up to date with the Revenue, other obligations for the companies are linked to credit adherence. One is that the company will not be able to fire employees for up to two months after the payment of the last installment of the loan, which has a term of 36 months to be paid.
That is, if the company obtains the loan for the maximum payment period of the installments, it will not be able to resign within 38 months.
