Pork Exports Rises 8.6%

Brazilian exports of fresh pork totaled 17,500 tons in the first week of March. With five working days, the average daily shipment was 3,500 tons, 8.6% higher than the average recorded in February, which stood at 3,200 tons per day. In relation to the average paid per tonne, there was a slight devaluation compared to January. In relation to March 2019, both volume and monetary values recorded growth of 40.6% in daily volume.
