Taurus starts factory production in Georgia

SÃO PAULO (Reuters)-the gun manufacturer Taurus reported on Friday that it started production of a new factory in Bainbridge, in the U.S. state of Georgia. According to the Brazilian company, which claims to be the largest manufacturer of revolvers in the world and the fourth most sold brand of weapons in the United States, the subsidiary has the capacity to produce 800,000 weapons per year. The unit will produce Heritage revolvers and the Taurus pistol model TX22.
