Prices of steels: prior to closing of the month of August

The prices of steel in the domestic industry suffered slight decline until today, 21, in the previous closing of the month of August in relation to last month (July). Of the indices established by Infomet, only ferrous scrap remained stable in the previous month. The ferrous scrap index has not changed from 138. The remaining indices, which can still fluctuate over the current month, suffered a slight drop, with emphasis on the bar Chata index, which suffered a decrease of 1.73%. In the accumulated year of 2019, only the indices of scrap, Industrial tube and bar Chata suffered increases of 6.15%; 3.66% and 1.79% respectively. The Hot Rolled Steel Index (BQ) accumulates a decrease of 3.95% this year, as well as the cold Rolled Steel Index (BF), with a decrease of 1.83% in the same period.
