Big Group Initiates hypermarket reformulations

At the beginning of the week, the Advent fund, controller of Walmart Brazil, announced the conversion of the flag into Big group and the investment in reopening the stores of the network with the new communication. Today (15), the nine hypermarkets of the company in the state of Pernambuco will be re-opened with the Big bomprice flag. There are seven units in the region of Greater Recife, besides Petrolina and Caruaru. According to the company, the goal is to redeem the bonds that consumers already have with this brand. The interior of the stores will also be reformulated with sectors such as bakery and expansion of 28% in the mix, plus more than 2000 regional products. The reform counted on an investment of R $70 million and increased by 15% the number of employees.
