Duratex Purchase Cecrisa

Duratex, manufacturer of wood panels and sanitary ware and metals, announced on Thursday (23), which bought the totality of Cecrisa, Brazilian producer of ceramic coatings and holder of the brand Portinari. For the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the company Catarinense, the amount disbursed is up to R $539 million. The net debt value of the company was R $442 million. The operation is subject to the approval of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade). The new business will allow the expansion of the company's portfolio, which currently gathers the brands Durafloor, Deca, Hydra, Duratex and Ceusa. With the transaction, the company hopes to gradually capture operational and administrative synergies above R $250 million.
