Cargill Registers growth of 14.6% in 2018

The multinational agribusiness Cargill registered 14.6% advance in net income in Brazil in 2018, to $679.8 million. The net operating revenue reached R $46.5 billion last year, against R $35 billion in 2017, including the agricultural areas and animal nutrition. With industrial units in 17 States, Cargill plans to invest R $500 million in Brazil this year. According to the company, part of the contribution will be directed to the construction of a pectin factory HM, texturizante agent based on citric fruits used in the production of jams, juices and milk drinks.
