Bemis inaugurates Packaging Innovation Center

The Bemis packaging manufacturer announces the opening of "Inova Bemis", its first innovation center outside the United States. With an investment of approximately R $3 million, the space is about 200 m² and is installed within the Mauá (SP) unit. "Inova Bemis comes up with the purpose of fostering innovation in the packaging industry in order to accelerate the collaborative development of new products and solutions in sustainable packaging," says Luiz Henrique Duarte, director of Marketing and innovation at Bemis for Latin America. The Innovation Center also has a laboratory with technologies of virtual prototypes and augmented reality, which will allow to simulate how would be the disposition of the products at the point of sale and that will allow the interactivity of the final consumer with the Packaging.
