Sonae Sierra Register 3.7 percent advance in sales

The tenants of the shopping malls managed by Sonae Sierra Brazil recorded growth of 3.7% in total sales last year, compared to 2017. The same shops, sales advanced 2.4 percent. Net sales reached $303.2 million, high R 5.1%, and net income totaled $189.7 million R, 36.7% higher than value in about 2017. In the fourth quarter, total sales grew by 5.7%. The recipe was discharged from 10.2% to $85 million, and profit R R $96.7 million, an increase of 114%. According to Sonae, the results are associated with lower net financial expenses and valuation of properties. Revitalization of Shopping Metropolis (SP) the administrator reveals that will invest $26 million to reform the R Shopping Metropolis, located in São Bernardo do Campo (SP). The venture will have new front, integration between the external and internal areas and furniture modernized, and new spaces for leisure and more shops in the mix. The food court will receive desks with outlets and USB input. The mall will gain four new lounges: one for children, with toys and room for activities; a with sofas and armchairs; one with natural light, landscape and food operations; and another aimed at realization of events. According to Sonae, the works will be finished by Christmas.
