Volvo announces investment of R $250 million in trucks plant in Paraná

Volvo announced this Wednesday (13) which will invest R $250 million on truck and bus factory in Curitiba until 2020. The company also said it started the year with 300 new employees, increasing the runoff of trucks. According to the automaker, the amount to be invested is an additional R $1 billion which the Volvo Group applies on unity between 2017 to 2019. "Are new features for every business in Brazil: trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine engines and industrial, research and development of new products and services," says Wilson Lirmann, President for Latin America. The Curitiba unit is the largest industrial complex of the brand on the Mainland, where they are manufactured by heavy trucks and semipesados, road and urban bus engines, gearboxes and cabins. The company also has a construction equipment factory in Pederneiras (SP).
