Retail Paulista Advances 2.6% in January

The São Paulo trade surged to 2.6 percent in January, compared with the same month last year. The data are from the Sales balance of the São Paulo commercial Association (ACSP), who points out the growth of 4.8% in trading and of 0.4% in the period. According to the President of the Association, Alencar Burti, items of clothing and household effects were the main responsible for the result. The term sales already showed a minor breakthrough on account of interest and high-dollar, says the Executive. Compared with December, the retail capital movement retreated 37.5%.
