Mondelez 18.4% in Profit Grows Q4

The Mondelez International recorded a net profit of $ $823 million in the fourth quarter of 2018, up 18.4% over the same period to 2017. However, the company's net revenue was 2.8 percent drop, to $ $6.77 billion. By region, the biggest drop in revenue was in Latin America, from 15.2% to $ $763 million. Already North America grew 1.6%, to $ $1.82 billion. Year to date, the profit increased by 19.6% to $ $3.38 billion, and the net revenue reached $ $25.9 billion, with advance of 0.2% compared to the previous year. To 2019, the manufacturer provides for growth between 2% and 3% of net revenues.
