Docol Mekal purchase and enters the segment of crockery

The manufacturer of metal sanitaryware Docol bought Mekal control, which operates in the premium kitchen sinks. The value of the deal was not revealed. At first, the two factories, both the paulista de Santa Catarina, Mekal of Docol will be maintained. According to the Docol, the company is the largest exporter in the sector in Latin America. Mekal's acquisition catalog is part of the expansion strategy of Docol's portfolio, which is also entering the area of sanitary wares. Last year, the Docol won $400 million, with R high of 3% compared to 2017. For this year, the company envisages investments of R $30 million in the factory and wants to grow 8% in revenue.
