Bottle of covet line is chosen for the new Gin Vitória Régia Rosé

Owens-Illinois (O-I) is once again the partner of the Carmosina group in the launch of a new version of a major product: Gin Vitória Régia Organic Rosé. Filled in the Fort 750 ml COVET bottle – special line developed by O-I – the new version of the drink was launched on October 29 in São Paulo. Vitória Régia Rosé gin follows in the footsteps of its traditional version, but now enters the category of "flavored" gins. Rosé is a London Dry artisanal gin, organic, produced in small batches and keeps in its composition the botanicals of the original recipe: juniper, cardamom, Jamaican pepper, coriander and lemon – but brings in its new composition hibiscus, cranberry and blueberry. The choice of bottle accompanied the need to maintain the light and fruity taste of the new drink, since the packaging should preserve the aroma of fresh red fruits, keeping on the palate the characteristics of the traditional Royal Victory and a gentle alcoholic body; endorsing the long-standing partnership between Carmosina and O-I. "All our products are bottled in O-I packaging. We chose Owens-Illinois (O-I) for its quality and because the company is aligned with our sustainability values. We work with organic products and want it to be filled in bottles that are produced within these values," says Thyrso Camargo, Co-Founder of the Carmosina group. Owens-Illinois glass packaging (O-I) is produced with natural raw materials and recycled glass from shards collected by a sustainable reverse logistics system. "For O-I it is very gratifying to have partners who are equally committed to offering a high quality product and who care about sustainability throughout its cycle: from production to shelves. Because this is also our proposal," says Nádia Guimarães, responsible for the COVET line in Brazil. Vitória Régia Rosé gin is a creation signed by the master distiller Erwin Weimann and will be available for sale in physical stores throughout the Rio-São Paulo stretch, as well as some localities of Rio Grande do Sul.
