Shopping malls have a drop in the number of visitors

The Shopping center visits index recorded a 2.89% drop in visitor flow in September of this year, compared to the same period last year. The data is part of a survey of the Brazilian Association of Shopping Centers (ABRASCE) in partnership with FX Retail Analytics, specializing in flow monitoring for retail. According to the research, the southern region was the only one that presented growth, with 2.64%. The Northeast and southeast regions had falls of 0.54% and 3.90%, respectively. According to the entities, the low index reflects the interval between the seasonal dates of the second semester.
