Brazil grows 14% in importation of olive oil

Brazil recorded a 14% increase in imports of olive oil. 61900 tonnes were imported between the period of October 2018 and may 2019. The survey was carried out by the International Olive Council (IOC). In this period, only Japan (23%) and China (15%) Recorded higher percentage growth in relation to the analog period of 2017/2018. Still according to the IOC, the importation of Olives is also high in Brazil. Between September 2018 and may 2019, 89100 tons of olives entered the country, an increase of 11%.
