E-commerce Christmas Overcomes 2017 numbers

During the Christmas of 2018, the e-commerce grossed R $9.9 billion-representing a nominal growth of 13.5% in comparison with R $8.7 billion recorded in the same period to 2017. The average ticket went up 8%, from $457 to R R $493. More categories purchased in e-commerce during the Christmas of 2018 were appliances (14.4%), perfumery and cosmetics (10.4%), fashion and accessories (10.1%), home and decoration (9.8%) and telephony and cell phones (7.6%). Methodology for this survey, were considered by the e-commerce sales between November 15 and December 24, including the Black Friday period, which this year accounted for 26% of industry revenues in the period (R $2.6 billion).
