Cost of living in SP Falls 0.36% in November

The cost of living in the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo registered a fall of 0.36 percent in November, biggest value displayed in 2018. The data is the cost of living survey by Social Class (CVCS), held by the Federation of trade in goods, services and tourism of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP). In 2018, the cumulative increase of 3.14% was obtained and, in the last 12 months, the high was 3.91%. One of the nine categories that make up the indicator, four suffered negative variation in the month. According to FecomercioSP, the transportation segment was mainly responsible for the slowdown in the cost of living, with fall of 0.78%.
