Cement sales in Brazil must re-ascend in 2019 after 4 years of decline, says Icns

SAO PAULO (Reuters)-sales of cement in Brazil should grow back in 2019 after four consecutive years of decline, said on Tuesday the National Union of the cement industry (SNIC), highlighting the improved confidence in various sectors of the economy. The entity designs increase near 3% in sales of material in 2019, taking into consideration the positive impact of the adoption of the new rule of rescission of buildings in construction industry. Last year, there were 1,2% retraction in sales about 2017, to 52.7 million tons. Considering only December, sales fell 0,2% to 4 million tons, compared to the previous year.
