After a rough couple of months, Aurora Foods begins to improve results

Aurora foods, third largest brazilian processor of chicken and pork meat, has since rallied after facing nearly an entire semester of difficulties. The company suffered impact of the increase in the price of corn, the international restrictions to Brazilian chicken and, of course, of the Teamsters ' walkout. Right now, however, the cooperative made it back to blue. The expectation from now on is that the production adjustment made to suit demand chicken offering, allows brazilian poultry farming sustainably recovers in the second half. "After the strike of the drivers, there is a clear signal because it starts to be a balance between supply and demand," said Mario Lanznaster, President of dawn Foods.
