iFood Receives Contribution of $ $500 million

The Movile announced last Tuesday (13) which will invest, along with Naspers and Innova Capital, the sum of $ $500 million in startup iFood in Brazil. The holding company, which owns the app delivery of meals, reveals that the amount will be destined to the four main points, over the next 14 months: artificial intelligence, logistics and acquisition of other companies. The iFood acts in 483 cities and plans to double that number. The expectation is that the startup grow 110% in 2018. In October of 10.8 million requests were made and, in November, the projection of 12 million. Currently, 150,000 restaurants are partners of the app.
