Ashland bet in the Brazilian market and enhances investment in country

With the recent acquisition of Pharmachem Laboratories, for $ $660 million, the North American company, a global leader in specialty chemicals, will bring technologies nutraceutical properties (that prevent disease) and personal care for its laboratories in Brazil. The plants are located in the cities of Cabreúva and Araçariguama, both in the State of São Paulo in Brazil. This will enable, for example, develop aloe vera based products.

In the town of Cabreúva, is located the plant of additives for the food industry, beverages and nutraceuticals, to where are directed the resources and investments needed to absorb the demand generated with the acquisition of Pharmachem.

On the market of nutraceuticals
