MasterCard Launches card with Biometrics

Mastercard Announces, on Thursday (20) launching a credit card that comes with a fingerprint sensor. According to the company, this is the next generation of biometric cards ", which combine chip technology with biometrics to ensure the identification of the consumer at the time of purchase. The new technology, the holder of the credit card must place the finger on the sensor to check the print and release the Bank drive. The system, called Identity Check Mobile, uses fingerprints or facial recognition to verify the identity of the holder of a credit card. The registered fingerprint is converted into a digital encrypted template, which is stored on the card, so ready to use in any terminal of EVM.
