Boehringer cattle, poultry and pets sights in Brazil

São Paulo-Boehringer Ingelheim, who until last year worked only in the segment of swine in Brazil with your animal health arm, will also have products for cattle, poultry and pets after the acquisition of Merial. The three segments represent 80% of the portfolio of pharmaceuticals.
"Until 2018, the company will make 20 releases in the Brazilian market for the pets, poultry and cattle," said yesterday, the President of the animal health unit in Brazil, Francis Escudero, known as Paco Escudero. Among the new products, at least six are intended for cattle.
The German started 2017 with the completion of commercial operation, which involved the delivery of human health products unit (CHC) for the French Sanofi, in Exchange for animal health Division (Merial). Foot-and-mouth disease
"We are very close to inaugurate the foot plant," said the Executive of the new unit of Paulínia (SP), which awaits only the release of the Ministry of agriculture to start the production of vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease.
According to Escudero, the deadline for the approval of the federal Government wins at the end of this year and until the second half of 2018 the plant is already operating commercially.
