Austral Logistics passes the Act with loads that require temperature control

Austral logistics, food industry-focused operator, recently expanded your activities to work also with products that require temperature control. For that, the company restructured your distribution center, located in Simões Filho (BA), in order to make it fit to receive this kind of load.
Of pallets that positions the 17000 Austral has, 1,500 were directed to refrigerated loads and other 1,500 to frozen, leaving still 14000 pallet positions for storage of dry cargo. "The investment was around 15 million R$. With the Chambers for refrigerated and frozen foods, we''re serving large industries, operating with storage services, handling and delivery, "the company''s Director, Luciano Candemil. The Austral was founded in the year 2000 and, during its 17 years, specializes in serving the food market, with over 60 clients who are among the biggest industries in the sector in Brazil. From the CD of Simões Filho, the company carries out deliveries for the entire state of Bahia and Sergipe.
The structure is situated in a land with total area of 93,500 m ² and has approximately 40000 m ² of built area and 30000 m ². According to Candemil, the Austral already initiated the work of CD duplication, which will count with a total of 35000 pallet positions, between dry, chilled and frozen cargo.
"Our investment in 2017 will be approximately 40 million R$ on duplication of structure, with firm belief in the potential for growth in demand for our services," he explains. The Executive points out that the Austral closed with a 2016 23.5% and growth, to the cumulative 2017, is forecast to grow at least 30%. "We have plans to expand to other capitals of the Northeast, but only after completing our organic growth in Simões Filho," adds Candemil.
