Tetra Pak will use recycled packaging in manufacturing of pallets

With the goal of adding value to customers and further increase levels of recycling, Tetra Pak began the marketing of pallets made from recycled plastic and aluminum long-life post-consumer packaging. Developed in partnership with the Green Pallet, the company responsible for manufacturing the material, the new pallets are resistant to chilled and damp environments and have lifetime, on average, 10 times higher than traditional.
At the same time contributes to the reduction of environmental impact in the industry, the project reflects the company''s commitment with the environment. Another advantage is that the new products can be sanitized after coming into contact with oils, grease and chemical substances. In addition to the benefits related to sustainability, they have high static and dynamic capacity, not proliferate fungi or bacteria and have no seams or glues, which eliminates the cost of repairs and carries on a low level.
