Star mill Invests $10 Mi in Modernization

The Star Mill, wheat flour manufacturer of Canoes, celebrates 50 years this Wednesday (11) and announces an investment of 10 million R$. "We are investing in modernization, with new machinery to increase productivity," says Gerson Pretto, industrial Director of the company. In addition, to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary, the packages have gained new guise and a commemorative stamp. The Star Mill has a production capacity of 350,000 tons of flour per year in two units located in the city of Canoas. In 2016, the company grew 14 percent and registered a turnover in excess of 300 million R$. For this year, hopes to keep the pace of expansion of sales by more than 10%.
