Number of Brazilians Negativados Falls in August

According to the estimate of the credit protection service (SPC Brazil) and the National Confederation of Merchants Leaders (CNDL), the number of Brazilians negativados fell for third consecutive month and reached 58,800,000 in August. In June, an estimated 59,100,000 defaulters and pointed, in July, 58,900,000. Despite the fall in recent months, that number is considered high by experts for representing 39.46% of the adult population in the country. "Despite the drop in the number of delinquent, it is too early to consider the trend of retraction of delinquencies will continue over the next few months," says the President of CNDL, Honorius Patel.
