Number of fraud in e-commerce grows in first quarter

The risks of fraud for consumers who buy products over the Internet have increased in the first quarter of 2016 in comparison with the same period in 2015. According to a survey conducted by the company-PayU Fcontrol and anti-fraud solutions specialist in e-commerce-fraud attempts in the Brazilian e-commerce grew 1.32%. In the Southeast and South, fraud revolve around 3.2%. The States of Minas Gerais (4.65%), Rio de Janeiro (3.37%) and São Paulo (2.82%) are the ones who suffer the most with fraud in the Southeast. In the South, the indexes hit Santa Catarina (3.74%), Paraná (3.58%) and Rio Grande do Sul (1.11%), in that order.
