Braskem green plastic arrives at natural and vegan cosmetics packaging

Bio Vegan was created to meet the consumer demand for products produced in an environmentally responsible manner. So, the cosmetics are developed in order to generate less impact on nature and bring a ritual of harmony and wellbeing for those who use them. Among the releases are the body scrub, liquid soap, bath oil and body moisturizing lotion.
"Develop the Bio cosmetics Vegan was a real challenge because we seek to create cosmetics as green as possible and that contributed to a moment of comfort and well-being. The result of all this research was amazing and charming ", explains Maria de Lourdes Vertuan, pharmaceutical-biochemist and Director of Bio Vegan.
With the goal of helping consumers to recognise the product using 100% renewable raw material, Braskem has created the label "I''m green ™". Result of the combination of innovation, technology and sustainability, Green plastic adopted by Bio Vegan captures and fixes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, contributing to the reduction in the emission of greenhouse gases. This product offers the same features as the traditional polyethylene and can be recycled in existing chain.
