Brazilian businessman optimism remains low

The Brazilian business optimism had 13% drop in the first quarter of this year, up a percentage point with respect to the volume determined in the previous period (October, November and December), revealed the research IBR (International Business Report) made by Grant Thornton. According to the study, Brazil is the third-ranked Country with more entrepreneurs insecure about the economy, 70%, behind only Greece and Botswana.
According to Daniel, associate head of the consultancy, the uncertain scenario, both in political and in economic perspective, leads to this expectation. To reverse this scenario, points to an increase in foreign investment in assets in Brazil as well as a greater propensity of enterprises in structuring internally to manage the expectation less optimistic of the performance of the economy. This in terms of improvement of processes to gain efficiency, cost control and cash flow management.
