Gross value of agricultural production is R$ in the beginning of year bi 501.4

Various products had the fall of the value of production. Among them, those with greater reduction, so far, are herbaceous cotton ( -7.4%), rice ( -10.2%); sugar cane ( -11.3%) smoke ( -15.7%); corn ( -7.8%); orange ( -7.4%), tomatoes ( -49.6%) and uva ( -13.3%).
The regional information confirm the predominance of the South in the formation of national BA, with a value of R$ 148.0 billion, followed by the Midwest (134 billion R$), Southeast (127.2 billion R$), Northeast (49.4 billion R$) and North (R$ 29.8 billion).
According to SPA, the VBP analysis also shows the growing importance of soy in the North of the country, with emphasis on Tocantins, Rondônia and Pará. The study indicates that this year features favorable for most of the Brazilian States in terms of revenue. This can be attributed to soybeans and coffee in States such as Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.
