Vehicle production rises 21.8% in November, but sales fall

For the first time this year, the vehicle production in Brazil was up to 200,000 units. The total of 213 vehicles that left the Assembly lines in November represented a growth of 21.8 percent compared with a year earlier.
In comparison with October when 174,200 units were produced, there were 22.4% advance. Cars pulled growth, with an increase of 23.3% production in comparison with November 2015. In the case of trucks, the high was only 0.2%.
"The important thing is that we return to exceed the level of 200,000 units per month," said the President of Anfavea, Antonio Mann.
Still in November, were licensed 178,000 vehicles, including cars, trucks and buses across the country. The volume represents a fall of 8.7% compared with the same month of 2015; compared to October, however, there was an increase of 12%.
"The tendency to fall month-to-month decreases", points Mann. According to him, the daily average of plates issued in November, 8900 units, was the best of the year.
