Supermarkets Lead index of Retail losses

A recent study on the index of retail losses in 2015, released her Brazilian Association of retail and consumption (SBVC), recorded an average of 1.4% loss, considering all the segments, with emphasis on the supermarket sector which showed a total of 2.26% in losses, followed by construction (1.19%), magazines (1.16%), fashion (15) and fragrances (0.96%). Among the factors that cause these losses, according to the study, the main cause is the operating breaks (36.9%) – mainly driven by the maturity of products (37.3%) – followed by robbery (22.5%) and internal (14.2%).
Supermarkets Leading among all segments, 2.26% of losses in supermarkets is divided between unidentified losses (1.23%) and breaks (1.03%). In the Division for breaks, maturity is also the main cause of loss (39.6%), followed by inadequate storage (19.7%). According to the SBVC, were considered in the research industry formats (neighborhood stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets and attacked), with a sample of 1355 stores and 34 distribution centers.
